4 dead, 15 hurt in Hyderabad bus accident

Four bus passengers, including two women, were killed and at least 15 others were injured when an RTC bus belonging to Karnataka hit a Telangana state-run bus in Mahabubnagar district on Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred around 11am near Choudarpalli area when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus rammed into the side portion of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus resulting in death of four passengers travelling in the Telangana bus and injuries to 15 others in both buses, they said.
“The driver of KSRTC bus who was consuming pan masala and was repeatedly spitting from the window and despite being warned by passengers he continued to do the same. The KSRTC bus was apparently speeding when the mishap took place,” DSP Krishna Murthy said.
