3,500 vehicles fined in Noida

The Noida traffic police fined more than 3,500 vehicles in last four days under the special drive to mark the road safety month. About half a dozen policemen were also prosecuted during the drive.
Superintendent of police (Traffic), Rajiv Narayan Mishra said in last three days a maximum 1,523 challans were issued for riding without helmet. More than 428 challans were issued for driving without seat belt, 42 people were fined for using mobile phones while driving and 83 challans were issued for tripling.
