35-yr-old held for sexually assaulting seven-yr-old

A 35-year-old factory worker was arrested for sexually assaulting a minor girl in her house in west Delhi. Avadh Raj, the accused was known to the girl's family and was arrested on Saturday from his residence in Moti Nagar in west Delhi.
The accused assaulted the 7-year-old girl on Wednesday afternoon when her parents were out of their house. Finding the girl alone at home, he assaulted her. Her parents took her to the police station, when she narrated the incident upon their return. A police official said, 'a medical examination of the girl was conducted that confirmed sexual assault, which, however, was not rape.'
