35-year-old gang-raped in moving SUV

A-35-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by four people in a moving SUV car in Noida on Thursday afternoon. The woman was found unconscious in Sector-51. Her treatment is undergoing in a private hospital in a Mayur Vihar-III hospital in Delhi. According to the cops, the incident took place around 12 pm when the woman was waiting for a bus at Sector-12/22 bus stop. She alleged that four people offered her lift in their Scorpio car and then raped her in moving car.

“In her complaint, the woman told that she had left her home to meet her husband. She alleged that four men located her at the bus stop and then offered her a lift to drop her to her desired destination. As she sat, they offered her a cold drink laced with sedatives following which she felt sleepy and unconscious. It was then the men allegedly raped her in the moving car and dumped on the outskirts of the city,” said a senior police official investigating the case.

She was later brought to the district hospital for medical examination. Police said that they have identified two accused-Viru and Shameer. “We have registered an FIR against four persons under Section 376D (rape with a woman involving more than one person) of the IPC at Sector 24 police station. A police team has been formed to investigate the matter and to arrest them,” said the official.
