35-year-old businessman missing, family members suspect he’s kidnapped

A 35-year-old businessman from Rajasthan, visiting the capital on business, has gone missing from west Delhi's Moti Nagar area. Family members  suspect he has been kidnapped. Sushil Parnami came to Delhi on 3 August to sell and buy air conditioners (AC) and other products from Karol Bagh. 

He had booked a room in a west Delhi hotel. 

On 4 August he had gone to the electronics market in Karol Bagh, before visiting the Karampura market on 6 August. He made some purchases there and directed that the items be delivered to his hotel room. In the evening, Parnami went to the bus stop from where his bus to Rajasthan was scheduled to depart, but changed his mind and booked himself a tempo instead. He reportedly gave the tempo driver an advance. On his way home, he called his wife to tell her of the changes in his travel plan.  According to a relative, that was the last they heard from him. His mobile phone has been switched off since. Family members have said that Parnami was carrying a lot of cash with him. Police has registered a case of kidnapping.
