34-year-old man found dead

A 34-year-old drug addict was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a drugs rehabilitation centre in Outer Delhi’s Rohini area, police said on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Sushil Kumar Gupta, a resident of Rohini area. He worked as a 

distributor in a gas cylinder company and was survived by his wife and two children. Police said that he was addicted to drugs.

The incident took place on Friday night, when Gopal Gupta, Sushil’s father, planned to send his son to a drugs rehabilitation centre in 

Rohini’s Sector-20. Within an hour, some officials from the centre came to their house at around 11:30 pm to take Gopal to the centre. Before taking him with them, they charged a fee of Rs 8,000 for a  month’s treatment.
