32-year-old engineer allegedly beaten up in Hauz Khas

 A 32-year-old engineer was allegedly beaten up by his neighbour and his relatives over parking issue in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas area on Saturday afternoon. The accused are yet to be arrested.  

The incident took place when Rajeev Pawar came to his residence in his car and saw one of his neighbour’s cars parked in the mid-way due to which he was unable to park his car outside his house. 
According to the complainant, he made a call to the owner of the car who is incidentally his neighbour and informed him about the situation. After hanging up the phone, Pawar waited for at least 15 minutes, but his neighbour did not come.

“I then went to his house but <g data-gr-id="24">Ransingh</g> (neighbour) called his brother and the duo thrashed him. Few minutes later four of his other relatives also joined them and started beating me up. Somehow, I managed to come back to my house and made a call to the police,” Pawar said in his complaint.  

Based on his allegations, an FIR has been registered at Hauz Khas police station, however, the accused are yet to be arrested. Police said that <g data-gr-id="22">probe</g> is on and till the time <g data-gr-id="20">evidences</g> are not found, it would not be possible to arrest the accused. 

The alleged accused have been questioned by the police and later released, police said.
