30-yr-old pregnant woman found dead in Noida park

Mystery still shrouds the death of a 30-year-old woman who was found laying in a park in Noida’s Sector 54 on Thursday morning. Police have not been able to identify the woman as her head has been brutally crushed to hide her identity but they suspect involvement of her close ones in the killing. She was also found to be pregnant. They have registered a case in this regard and have claimed to investigate the matter from all angles including rape and murder.

According to the police, the incident was reported at around 10 am when a passer-by informed the cops about a woman’s body lying in a pool of blood in a park. Police said the woman had worn a green top and pink leggings. Her head was crushed completely with the help of a hard object with injury marks on other parts of her body too. She was taken to the district hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. They told the police that she was few months pregnant and had been brutally beaten-up with marks on various parts of her body. 

As no family members of the woman approached the cops, they contacted local residents of the area but failed to identify her. Later four teams were formed who conducted massive search operations for identification. “We have registered a case at Sector 24 police station and have formed teams which will interact with people of Sector 54, Gijhore, Bishanapura, Khora and other places too. Although it’s a brutal murder, motive behind it will be clear after postmortem examination is done. That can only take place after three days of the incident as body is still unidentified. If the woman is pregnant, there must be a close relative behind the crime otherwise there might be possibility of rape and murder,” said a senior police official investigating the matter.
