30-yr-old IP Univ employee mowed to death

A 30-year-old employee of Indraprastha <g data-gr-id="11">University</g> (IP) was mowed down to death by a Skoda car in Dwarka at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday. The deceased, Indrapal, working in the lift section of the varsity, was heading towards his Bharat Vihar home in a cycle when a speeding Skoda car hit him from the rear. Passers-by rushed to the spot and admitted Indrapal to a nearby hospital. The police checked the CCTV footages and the car number was ascertained. The police arrested Siddhant, the one driving the car, under Section 279 and 304A of the IPC. Indrapal is said to be from UP and was staying with wife and three kids in Bharat Vihar.
