30-year-old woman abducted, police refuses to file complaint

In a shocking incident reported from the high-security New Delhi district of Delhi Police, a 30-year-old woman was allegedly abducted by unidentified men on Monday.
The victim, works as a domestic help at a bungalow in south Delhi’s posh Gautam Nagar area and lives with her family at a JJ colony near India Gate. The victim’s mother alleged said when she went to the Tilak Marg police station to report the incident, the officials refused to register the complaint.
She waited there for hours and it was only around 10 pm when her complaint was registered.
As narrated by the victim’s mother, the victim had gone out for some work at 3 pm. Around 3.40 pm she received a call from her daughter, who told her that some men have abducted her.
After few hours, she received another call in which one of the abductors claimed that he had married her daughter and she will have to come to Mehrauli to take her back.
