3 members of Delhi family killed in accident in Uttar Pradesh

Three-year-old Aahat, Muslima (50) and Rizwan (27), residents of Khanpur in South Delhi lost their lives after their car collided with a sugarcane-laden truck today afternoon at Akdoli village under the Hafizpur police station here, SP Hapur, Rajendra Pandey said.
The incident took place while the family was travelling to Mau Kheda village via Hapur with their vehicle trying to overtake the truck, he said, adding that the car applied sudden brakes because of the vehicles coming from opposite direction that caused the truck to hit the car from behind.
Abdul Rehman and his daughter-in-law Masina, the other two mebers of the family were seriously injured in the accident and have been admitted to a nursing home here, police said. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, Pandey said, adding that the relatives of the family have been informed about the incident.
