3 killed in separate accidents in Delhi

Three were killed in separate accidents in Delhi in the last 24 hours. All the accidents occurred due to high speeding of the vehicles.
In the first incident an IP university student, identified as Akash, 20, was killed by a speeding truck in Jahangirpuri area of north-west Delhi. The errant driver managed to escape. A case has been registered against the driver for negligance and rash driving causing death.
In the second incident, a driver of a water tanker that was speeding near Vasant Kunj area died when the tyre of the truck bursted and the driver lost control. The driver was crushed to death by his own vehicle.
In the third incident, an eight-year-old boy was killed by a speeding truck on late Wednesday evening.
The boy was going back home in a rickshaw when it was hit by a truck. The driver, identified as Zahid, has been arrested after the incident.
