3-day DU fiesta to boost innovation

A ‘skill development plaza’ and an ‘innovation park’ will be the highlights of the annual academic and cultural festival of Delhi University, which is all set to commence from February 20.

The three-day fiesta ‘Antardhwani’ will be inaugurated by BJP MP Chandan Mitra, University of Melbourne’s Vice- Chancellor Glyn Davis and University of Edinburgh’s Vice- Chancellor Sir Timothy O’ Shea.

“The university had recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Skill Development Council (NSDC). A skill development plaza is being set up at the festival venue, where the council will conduct a host of activities including seminars and workshops for creating awareness about job opportunities,” said Malay Neerav, DU’s Media Coordinator and Joint Dean of Students’ Welfare.
