In a shocking incident three businessmen in their early thirties were found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a car on Monday night.
Their vehicle was parked in Sector 4 of RK Puram in South Delhi. The air conditioner of the car was on at the time the victims were found to be unconscious and frothing from their mouths.
Prima facie circumstances suggest that poisonous fumes caused their death as no external injuries were found on their bodies. But the families claim they have been poisoned. The deceased have been identified as Laxman Singh (32), Balwinder Singh (33) and Nishant Dutta (32). Four months ago, they started an event management venture but the trio did not have any office.
‘They were running the business over phone and to discuss business plans they used to carry out their meetings on daily basis inside their cars,’ a police official said.
As part of their daily routine, on Monday evening, Balwinder, who is a resident of Kishangarh, went to Laxman’s house in RK Puram from where they went out in Balwinder’s Honda City car. Mid way, Nishant got in and they parked their car by the roadside in a narrow lane.
At 10 pm, when Laxman’s brother identified as Daulat, went to his grocery shop located in the nearby market, he found the car parked at the roadside. He found them unconscious. Speaking to Millennium Post, Daulat said, ‘When a police team reached the spot, they broke open the door of the car and found all three were frothing from their mouths.’
They were rushed to AIIMS, where they were declared dead on arrival. The cause of their death is yet to be ascertained.
Their bodies have been sent for the post-mortem examination and the autopsy reports are awaited.
