3 arrested for stealing mobile phone connected to IAF’s intra-net

Police on Friday claimed to have solved a case of burglary at an Air Force officer’s house from where a mobile phone connected to IAF’s intra-net was stolen with the arrest of three accused and the recovery of the phone.
Harish Singh Panwar (20), a hardened criminal who was earlier nabbed in around 30 cases, was on Friday arrested by a Crime Branch team from a crossing near Rajdoot hotel, Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police (crime) said.
Panwar, who used to consume drugs to prepare himself for burglaries, also carried a country-made pistol and cartridges which were seized from him along with house breaking tools, Yadav said.
