25-yr-old Nepal national held for robbing employer’s house

A 25-year-old Nepal national has been arrested for his involvement in a theft case in East Delhi area.
The accused has been identified as Deepak a native of Doti, Nepal, who visited India just two days before the incident in search of job.
According to police, on December 16, an information regarding theft in the house was received at Mandawali police station. The complainant, Rakesh Aggarwal, alleged that his servant Deepak had stolen jewellery, 800 US Dollars and Rs 2 lakh in Indian currency.
Police further claimed that during the course of investigation, the call details of the accused were analysed that led the police to Vipin Mahara and Mitra Giri (both residents of Nepal) and Deepak’s associates.
Both of them were interrogated at large and the cops managed to finally track Deepak, whose real name was revealed as Shankar Bhul.
“During the course of investigation, police team visited Meerut, Paharganj, Karol, Bagh, Sadar Bazar, Mahipal pur, Gurugram and at last Gauri Fanta Lakhimpur Khiri, UP in search of the accused. Later on, the accused was arrested,” said a senior police official.
“Umesh, the associate of the accused, got him a job as a servant at the house of the complainant at Ekta Garden,” the official added.
