25-year-old woman accuses boyfriend of raping her

A-25-year-old woman alleged that she was raped by her boyfriend in a five-star hotel in Greater Noida. Police have registered an FIR against the accused in Kasna police station on Tuesday.  According to police, the duo was in a live-in relationship since the last eight years and the victim wanted to marry him. 

The girl, who hails from Noida, is working as a software engineer in a private company. She met the accused in the same organisation nine years ago. Police said that the accused had promised to marry her which he later denied. 

The victim, in her complaint, alleged that in these years he took her to a five star hotel located in Greater Noida several times and raped her. When she forced him to marry her, he threatened her of dire consequences. However, police in their initial investigation have not found any record of any check-in into that five star hotel.  

Meanwhile, police have started an investigation in this case. “We have registered an FIR against the accused on court order and have begun investigation. 

“Prima-facie, no evidence have been recorded in five start hotel. We have called the victim to record her statement for further investigation,” said Arun Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of police, Greater Noida.
