25-year-old shot dead inside gym

A 25-year-old man was allegedly shot dead inside a gym at outer Delhi’s Alipur on Tuesday morning. It is suspected to be a case of personal rivalry, the police said.
The incident was reported at around 8.50 am and the victim, identified as Arun Mann (25), was doing his routine workout at a gym near Rishi Kunj Public School in Alipur. Suddenly, one of them pulled out a gun and shot Arun on his abdomen, said a cop. He further said, the trio was about to flee, when another youth exercising in the gymnasium threw a heavy dumb-bell, which hit one of the three accused on his head. But the other two managed to flee. The gym instructor called the police and both Arun and the injured (accused) were rushed to a hospital. While Arun was declared brought dead, the accused (Manjeet) was admitted with a severe head wound.
