24-year-old killed, friends accused in case

A 24-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his own friends in the Mangolpuri area of outer Delhi late on Wednesday night. The accused are absconding.
The deceased was identified as Vijay, a small businessman. The incident was reported on Wednesday night at around 11.30 pm. The victim was standing near his house and talking with someone when the accused came and attacked him with knives.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Sachin, Sajjan and Anup who were old friends of Vivek. They used to work with Vivek earlier in the same business.
‘We received a call in this regard at around 11.45 pm. When we reached the spot the victim was already taken to a nearby hospital where he died. We have sent the body for post-mortem and are further investigating into the matter,’ said the police officer investigating the case.
