24-year-old gang raped on pretext of employment

A 24-year-old married woman was gang raped in a moving car by four men, including a person known to her, in east Delhi's Welcome area. One of the accused has been arrested whereas the other three are absconding.
The victim hails from Bihar and has been residing in a rented accommodation in the city’s Bhajanpura area for the past four months. She is separated from her husband and has been living alone in Delhi. The victim was in search of a job in the capital and a person, who has been identified as Yashdev and who is also from Bihar promised to give her a job at a place known to him.
On Tuesday evening, he called the victim to a park at New Zafarabad discuss something related to a job for her. At around 9 pm, she reached the place with her resume and was offered a cold drink by Yashdev. The drink was allegedly laced with sedatives.
'When the victim lost consciousness, Yashdev took her into a white car with tinted glasses. Three other men, identified as Yadav, Vidhur Malik and Devendera were also present in the car. They started discussing her job and future in the capital, but later allegedly raped her one by one in the moving car,' the victim told police.
At around 2 am, the accused dumped her at an isolated place near a garbage vat in the Welcome area.
A woman, who is a resident of the area saw some movement when they were throwing the girl out of the car. She immediately informed the police and the cops reached the crime scene.
The victim was immediately rushed to the nearby Guru Teg Bahadur hospital. She was unconscious when she was admitted to the hospital. A medical examination was conducted that confirmed rape.
On the basis of the victim woman's statement, a case under the section – 376 (2) (G) (gang-rape) of Indian Penal Code has been registered against all the four people. On Wednesday, Yadav was arrested from his residence. A man-hunt is on to nab the remaining accused persons,' the official added.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested for raping a class IX student in the Ranhola area of west Delhi. The accused is the neighbour of the girl. He allegedly took the minor victim to Gole Market for a ride, where he raped her.
Before dropping her back home, he threatened her to kill her if she filed a complains against him. The incident took place on 27 February, but the girl was so terrified that she initially did not complained about the crime.
On 3 March, she narrated the incident to her mother who later made an official complaint against the accused person at Ranhola police station.
After the complaint was lodged, the was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Medical College for a medical examination that confirmed rape.
A case under section-376 (rape) of Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused. On Wednesday, the accused was apprehended. He has confessed his involvement in the crime.
In a separate incident, a 24-year-old cab driver was arrested for allegedly molesting a girl in the Barakhamba Road area of New Delhi district. Police said that the accused has been identified as Surya Parkash.Surya works as a Driver for an advocate who practices at Supreme court. The 20-year-old victim is pursuing her B.Sc from a noted college in Delhi University.
