24-year-old commits suicide in Akshardham

A 24-year-old worker in <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">Akshardham temple has committed suicide by hanging himself in the temple premises on Thursday late night. The reason behind the suicide is alleged to be love affair.

The deceased has been identified as <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">Jaimin Avtar who hails from Gujarat. From past five years he was working in the temple and was residing in a one-room set built in the temple. He was living with another worker. During the incident, Avtar was alone in his room and when his roomie returned, he saw him hanging from a ceiling fan.
 
According to police, no suicide note has been recovered from the premises but his co-workers claimed that he was depressed from past few days. When his co-workers were questioned it was learnt by the cops that Avtar was in love with a girl who resides in Gujarat. ‘We are tracing the identity of the girl to find out the reason behind the suicide,’ the officer said.

The body has been handed-over to the family of the deceased after conducting the post-mortem. The reports are awaited. A case under the appropriate sections of <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">the Indian Penal Code has been registered.
