22-year-old girl raped by tutor

A 22-year-old girl was allegedly raped repeatedly by her tutor, who also made a video clip of the act and blackmailed her, for the past six months in Indirapuram area of the district, police said on Monday. The accused identified as Shafiq Ahmed, who ran a coaching institute for spoken English in Khoda area, has been arrested following a complaint filed by the girl, police said, adding a case has been registered in this connection. ‘The girl told police that she took admission to English speaking course at Ahmed’s coaching centre in November last,’ a police officer said.
