2-year-old run over by govt hospital ambulance in Greater Noida

A government hospital’s ambulance mowed down a two-year-old child in Bhatta Village under the Dankaur area of Greater Noida on Sunday. 

Angry villagers stopped the ambulance and thrashed its driver, Aarif, and his co-worker Ajay. 

Both the driver and his co-worker have been arrested.

According to the police, the ambulance had come to drop a woman and her newborn child to the area. The girl came under the vehicle’s wheels while the driver was reversing. 

The child was rushed to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead, police said.
