2 officers killed in attack in Sinai

Unknown assailants on Friday gunned down two high-ranking Egyptian security officials in the country’s North Sinai bordering Israel, amid a surge in Islamist insurgency in the region. Mohamed Selmi, a brigadier general in the Central Security Forces, was killed in Sheikh Zuwayed city in North Sinai, near his home.
