2 die as car runs into pole

Two college students, in their early twenties died in a road accident when their over-speeding Swift DZire car ran onto the pavement and collided with a pole on Friday evening in West Delhi’s Vikaspuri area. According to the police, the two students have been identified as Saurabh and Sidharth. Both were pursuing B tech from a private college and were coming back after giving their exams. Police said that the incident took place in the evening following which passers-by informed the local police. The duo was rushed to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead on arrival. A case has been registered at the Vikaspuri police station under relevant sections of the law. Further investigation is on to ascertain whether the students were under the influence of alcohol.
