Delhi Police have arrested two persons for the abduction and gang-rape of a 14-year old girl who was held captive for 14 days in Greater Noida. The two accused have been identified as Mohit and Vipin.
According to the police, on November 22, the girl’s father registered a complaint that his daughter went missing when she went out to get milk from a nearby milk-booth. Later in December 6, police got information that the girl was admitted in a nearby hospital in Greater Noida. According to the doctors, she was sexually assaulted and had bullet injuries on her chest. Based on the statement of the minor girl, police found out that the girl was abducted and gang-raped her while being held captive in a rented room.
She stated in her complaint that after they sexually assaulted her, they took her to a field and opened fire at her after which they threw her in a well assuming her to be dead. She cried for help and was rescued by local villagers. With the help of technical surveillance and local intelligence, police teams were able to nab the two accused, Kishan and Vipin.
During interrogation, the duo broke down and revealed that Kishan got the minor girl’s mobile number and started talking to her. He introduced himself as Krishna, a property dealer. After winning her trust, he along with the other accused went to Uttam Nagar to meet her and took her in their Santro car and was later joined by another person named Devender, Kishan’s elder brother. Police have launched a massive manhunt to nab Devender who is absconding.
