17-yr-old boy who cleared Class 12 with 90% murdered

Nearly a month back when 17-year-old Shubhin passed his Class XII board examination with 90 per cent marks and started preparing for engineering exams he did not know that his journey would be cut short brutally.
The young boy was stabbed to death by 10-12 unidentified men on Sunday night around 9pm.
Shubhin, who was a native of Kerala, lived in Madangir with his father, mother and younger brother. The family owns a general store in the same area.
Shubhin was walking towards the store along with two of his friends when a group of 10-12 men attacked the boys with knives. The 17-year-old boy got severely injured in the attack along with one of his friends.
A passerby who tried to intervene was also assaulted. The police which later reached the spot took the injured to the Max Hospital. Shubhin was declared brought dead.
Outraged with the incident, residents carried out protests at the BRT corridor. Police suspect personal enmity to be the reason behind the attack. Investigations are going on and the victim’s family is being questioned.
