16-yr-old schoolgirl dies under mysterious circumstances

A 16-year-old girl, who was in class 11 at a government school, died under mysterious circumstances at east Delhi’s Anand Vihar on Saturday.
“In the morning her father dropped her at the school at Surajmal Vihar – around 7.30 am. When the girl’s uncle went to pick her up there was no children around and the girl went missing,” said her relative.
He further said that around 1.45 pm, they received a call from the Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan hospital and they were informed that the girl was admitted there. When they went to the hospital, the girl was in an unconscious state and later she died. Her body was sent for postmortem examination.
The case was reported to the police and investigation was taken up immediately. Later it emerged that the girl was admitted in the hospital by a youth named Anuj, who arrived there in a Zen car.
Anuj was picked up for questioning and he reportedly told police that the girl had consumed poison. Anuj was reportedly a friend of the deceased girl, said a source.
