16 Dec gang rape accused without phone, visit rights

The Tihar jail authorities on Friday informed the fast track court hearing 16 December gang rape case that accused Akshay Thakur's phone and visit facility has been withdrawn, as a punishment after he used abusive language and misbehaved with the jail officials.

The jail authority submitted, in court, its 'punishment ticket' issued against Thakur, stating that his visit rights and phone facility were withdrawn for two weeks.
