12, including 4 of family, killed in Thane building collapse

According to Thane Municipal Corporation’s Regional Disaster Management Cell in-charge Santosh Kadam, the four-storeyed building--Krishna Niwas--located in B cabin area of Thane city near the railway station, collapsed around 2.30 AM (IST) when the occupants were fast asleep.

The toll rose to 12 after the body of a 60-year-old man identified as Ramchandra Barve was recovered from the debris, he said.
