10-week long training session for DND traffic personnel

In order to ensure road safety for commuters, especially for DND flyway users, the Noida police and the toll authority have announced to conduct a 10-week long training session for the traffic personnel. The authorities have said that training will be provided to at least 500 personnel with the
help of international experts and emphasis will be on quick response after any type of untoward incident.
The toll officials said that the road safety initiative, which involves training the police personnel of Noida as first responders in medical emergencies.
The police personnel will be trained extensively for medical emergencies like soft tissue injuries, cuts and wounds, impaled object, fractures, cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) demo and practice. Do’s and don’ts during fire and burn injuries, dog bites, snake bites, severe allergic reaction etc.
“By learning so, the Noida police, especially the personnel in PCR vehicles as well the quick response teams will be able to react in a better way to save the lives of the city and district. The training will be conducted for at least 500 police personnel as per their availability. One single batch will be of 50 participants and will continue till six hours for a comprehensive impact and learning. The first batch will be trained on March 8,” said Anwar Abbasi, Spokesperson of DND flyway.
