10 books penned by CM to be released this year

Book lovers are enthusiastic about Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s latest book ‘Sahishnuta’.
Banerjee’s latest book revolves around the politics of religion and ill-effects of caste system.
In her book, she writes about politics of religion and the present situation in the country. There is an underlying message of harmony in the book. There will be an official release of around 10 books written by the Chief Minister at the book fair. It may be mentioned that Banerjee has been vocal in her condemnation of recent instances of “intolerance” in the country.
Bolivia will be the focal theme country in this edition of book fai,r and Vietnam the guest of honour marking 40 years of the Vietnam War. Organised by the Publishers and Booksellers Guild, the 12-day event is likely to be inaugurated on Monday, but it will be thrown open to public from Tuesday. The fair ends 7 February.
General Secretary of the Guild, Tridib Chatterjee said that Spain will be featured in commemoration of 60 years of Indo-Spanish diplomatic ties, while Bolivia has been selected as the theme country to mark the 50 years of Che Guerava’s epic struggle against imperialism.
For the convenience of visitors, the organisers have also tied up with app-based cab providers who will make adequate arrangements of cars at the Milan Mela ground.
