1 dead, 20 hurt in UP terrace collapse

A 4-year-old girl died and 20 others were injured when the terrace of a house collapsed at Jahanabad Khobra village in the district on Sunday.
The victims were standing on and underneath the terrace of a house watching a snake charmer’s act when it collapsed, killing Vanshika and injuring 20 others – including children, police said.
Five persons were admitted to a hospital, while the rest were treated by the local doctors, they said. Vanshika’s body has been sent for postmortem. The police are trying to find out the reason behind the collapse.
