The victim got married to one Bipalb Sona around four years ago. The family members of the victim alleged that she came to know about her husband's illicit relationship with another woman in the locality.

dowry.

He also threatened the woman for the dire consequences if her father fails to provide him the money the accused had demanded for.

The local residents found the victim hanging from the ceiling and husband had fled from the spot. They informed the matter to the local police station.
