Will stay quarantined at home, assure Jeet, Mimi after returning from London

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress MP and actor Mimi Chakraborty and Tollywood actor Jeet, who have returned from London on Wednesday morning, have assured that they will be remaining restricted in their homes

for the next 14 days to ensure that COVID-19 doesn't get spread.

Actor Biswanath also returned to the city from abroad on Wednesday morning. The actors, who reached Kolkata Airport from London via Dubai, had gone to London for shooting of a film.

Mimi Chakraborty said that following the advisories of the government, she will be remaining in her house for the next 14 days.

At the same time, the office of the MP at Patuli in South Kolkata will also remain closed till March 31.

On Wednesday, the Trinamool MP tweeted, stating that she is "...perfectly fine and is under self-isolation. Meeting no one, not even my parents, dogs and house help. I am using disposable plates (for now). Hope everything comes out into shape ...and one more thing please don't spread rumours or panic..."

It was on March 17 when both Chakraborty and Jeet had tweeted that "In an unfortunate situation like this where a pandemic virus has a life taking threat to mankind... we have decided to cancel the shoot of our next film Baazi in London and we are returning on immediate basis back to our respective nests with the entire cast and crew..."
