Kolkata: The state Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) Board started the counselling process from Friday. They have also released a tentative schedule for the counselling.
"For 2022-2023 academic session, after having conducted the Common Entrance Test (WBJEE-2022), the Board will conduct web-based online counselling for admission to UG courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in universities, government colleges and self-financed institutes in the state of West Bengal. Tentative date to start online registration is 26th August 2022 afternoon," the board stated in a statement.
In a notice, the board stated that the registration, payment of registration fee and choice filling has started from Friday and will continue till September 1. The first round of seat allotment results will be announced on September 7. The payment of the seat acceptance fee will be open from September 7 to September 12.
The second round of seat allotment results will be announced on September 15. The payment of seat acceptance fee for fresh allottees will be open from September 15 to September 19. For further updates, the candidates are required to check the website regularly. The counselling will reportedly be held for over 32,000 seats.
