KOLKATA: Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at six places in Kolkata and Hooghly on Tuesday, in connection with the alleged scam in which the name of Mehul Choksi has cropped up. The ED officers went to different shopping complexes in the city and a market at Serampore in Hooghly, where there are shops of Choksi's group. It may be mentioned that the investigating agency had also raided the shops of Gitanjali Jewellers in various shopping complexes in and around the city. After reaching two out of six places, ED officers came to know that the shops of Choksi's group don't exist at those places anymore. Instead, some other shops and outlets have come up at the same locations. ED officers have questioned employees of the shops which exist at present in those places. They have seized documents and valuables from the shops of the group, which still exist in different shopping malls.
