Kolkata: The  Calcutta High Court on Sunday accorded approval to an appeal by para-teachers seeking permission to stage a sit-in-demonstration at Salt Lake. Earlier, para-teachers had appealed for the permission from the Bidhannagar Police. They moved High Court after police didn't give them approval to hold the protest. The court instructed the para-teachers to maintain peace and instructed police not to be apathetic towards them. Para-teachers may stage the demonstration from Monday morning in front of Bidhan Chandra Roy's statue approximately 100 metres from Bikash Bhavan.
