Kolkata: The "single window video conference" between a group of senior officials in Kolkata and representatives of business houses in the districts for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs will begin before Durga Puja.

Alapan Bandyopadhyay, Additional Chief Secretary of the MSME and Textiles department, said: "The video conference will initiate in the next few weeks."
He was speaking at a session on "MSMEs — The Growth Engine of Indian Economy" organised by the Calcutta Chamber of Commerce on Thursday.
He further urged to highlight the matter related to the opportunities of job creation in the MSME sector. He further stated that it is a potential sector in creating opportunities for the youth.
He further stated that the industrial parks are getting developed in the PPP mode. He urged the MSME entrepreneurs to come to the industrial parks for their business.
Bandyopadhyay interacted with the entrepreneurs present at the programme and listened to the problems they are facing. He also assured them of necessary help in solving the problems. It may be mentioned that a synergy has been organised at Siliguri on September 18. The next synergy on MSME will be held in Bankura.
