After they came out of their homes, they saw fire had broken in a room on the ground floor of the Maa Er Aashirbad apartment. Later, Prakash was shifted to M R Bangur Hospital as his condition was deteriorating.
Baguiati police station and the fire brigade were informed. After a while, two fire tenders reached the spot. After the fire was controlled, fire fighters went inside the room and found that gas was leaking from a LPG cylinder.
