Govt's decision to visit state capitals appreciated by Chambers of Commerce
The state government's decision to visit different state capitals to conduct road shows to create awareness about the infrastructure and other facilities that are available in Bengal has been appreciated by the Chambers of Commerce.
Bani Roy Chowdhury, senior vice president, Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ritwik Das chairman of the standing committee that maintains liaison with the state government met Mayor Sovan Chatterjee and discussed about the Chamber's role in projecting different concepts to create awareness of Bengal Global Business Summit 2018. The two-day BGBS will be held in January and the newly constructed Convention Centre in New Town. BNCCI has taken up startups in MSME.
The Chamber officials also requested the Mayor to participate in their flagship event the 30th Industrial Trade Fair at the Milan Mela ground in the winter. The 130-year-old Chamber is taking all measures and steps to create awareness and mass participation of their state-wide members majorly representing the MSME and SME sectors of West Bengal.
