ER to run 10 pairs of special trains in Sealdah Division during Durga Puja

Kolkata: To cater to the rush of commuters, Eastern Railway will run 10 pairs of special trains in the suburban section of Sealdah Divsion during Durga Puja.

These special trains will run in Sealdah Main line, Sealdah — Bongaon as well as in Sealdah South sections in the nights of October 14/15 (Panchami/Shasti), October 15/16 (Shasti/Saptami), October 16/17 (Saptami/Astami) October 17/18 (Astami/Navami) and October 18/19 (Navami/Dashami).

Among these special trains, 1 pair of special trains will run between Sealdah & Ranaghat (leaving Sealdah at 00.40 hrs and leaving Ranaghat at 23.45 hrs), 1 pair of special trains will run between Sealdah & Bangaon (leaving Sealdah at 00.40 hrs and leaving Bangaon at 23.55 hrs), 1 pair of special trains will run between Sealdah & Dankuni (leaving Sealdah at 23.30 hrs and leave Dankuni at 00.25 hrs), 1 pair of special trains will be run between Ranaghat & Bangaon (leaving Ranaghat at 22.00 hrs and leaving Bangaon at 21.58 hrs), 3 pairs of special trains will be run between Sealdah (South) & Baruipur (leaving Sealdah at 15.20 hrs 00.30 hrs & 2.20 hrs and leaving Baruipur at 16.38 hrs, 01.25 hrs & 3.10 hrs), 1 pair of Special trains between Sealdah (South) & Budge Budge (leaving Sealdah South at 23.30 hrs and leaving Budge Budge at 00.30 hrs) and 2 pairs of special trains will be run between Sealdah & Naihati, (leaving Sealdah at 2.30 hrs & 1.45 hrs and leaving Naihati at 00.25 hrs & 2.55 hrs).

Besides, one down passenger special train for Baruipur will be run from Sealdah South at 17.35 hrs on October 16 (Saptami), October 17 (Astami), October 18 (Navami), October 19 (Dashami) & October 24 (Lakshmi Puja day).
