Kolkata: Noted singer Dwijen Mukhopadhyay has been undergoing treatment at SSKM Hospital with lung infection for the past three days. According to hospital sources, his condition is stated to be serious. Two medical boards were formed at the hospital for his treatment as the lung infections spread quickly. Mukhopadhyay, a noted Rabindra Sangeet singer, has given music in many Bengali films and composed as well.
Banga Bibhushan was conferred on him in July 2011.
