Kolkata: Union minister of state for Forest Babul Supriyo has differed with the opinion of state BJP president Dilip Ghosh, who had spoken in support of a local party worker of Jorasanko area in North Kolkata, who on Monday organised a cow worship programme at a cowshed and distributed cow urine.
Ghosh had said there is no harm in drinking cow urine and he has no qualms in admitting that he consumes it. Supriyo on Thursday tweeted making it clear that he does not support Ghosh's opinion.
"Ones who do it or promote it do it from their own 'personal' beliefs. True, a few donned saffron when doing it but all that's saffron is not BJP," he said.
