Kolkata: As a festive gift to Kolkata, Air India is all set to link Kolkata with Bangkok and Jaipur with direct flights.
Air India will add two more direct flights — an international and a domestic — connecting the City of Joy with Bangkok and also with Jaipur from October 15.
The two non-stop flights will fulfill the long-standing demand of passengers for a convenient connection with both Bangkok and Jaipur from Kolkata. The flights to be operated by the state-of-the-art Airbus 320neo aircraft with two-class configuration.
The flight AI336 from Kolkata to Bangkok will operate three days in a week. It will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It will leave Kolkata at 3.50 pm and it will arrive in Bangkok at 8.05 pm. Earlier, the incoming flight AI337 departed from Bangkok at 5.15 am to reach Kolkata at 7 am.
Flight AI737 will take off from Kolkata at 8.40 am to reach Jaipur at 11.10 am. It will depart from Jaipur at 12.20 pm and will land Kolkata
at 3 pm.
The new sectors operated by the plush new A320neo aircraft will offer a world-class flight experience to passengers from Kolkata and Eastern Region.
