Raiganj: Police arrested Akash Chawhan and Pankaj Kumar from Hasan village of Surjapur in Dalkhola of North Dinajpur in the wee hours of Thursday when they were allegedly attempting to rob a jewelry shop there. Having seen the police vehicle they fled away to nearby paddy fields. After a thorough search police arrested them, said a police official. The duo hail from Bihar.
