The police of New Jalpaiguri police station arrested a person with 622 grams of brown sugar from Kawakhali area of Siliguri, on Tuesday. About Rs 5 lakh cash was recovered from his possession. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Mukit Alam of Phansidewa.
