Malda is all set to organise a programme ‘Udyogider sathe Sakkhat- Shilper Samadhane (Meet the Entrepreneurs — Solutions for Industry’ along with other districts across the state in August.
The programme is aimed at offering multiple services for the entrepreneurs — from opening a bank account to disbursal of loans for new initiatives including, the execution of under process applications. This is going to be held at the block level for five consecutive days. The traders and industrialists of the district have welcomed the initiative.
The services to be provided in these camps are future credit card applications, enterprise registration, GeM on boarding, and PAN registration, among others. For department of minority affairs and Madrasa education, the services to be offered include submission of application for term loan, minority women empowerment programme and micro loan under existing loan and facilitation of skill development programme.
Ujjal Saha, an industrialist of Malda, said: “The initiative is very good and is welcomed. All the required benefits for the entrepreneurs will be given from a single window. This will help setting up new industries which will in turn generate employment. The income of people will grow and the result of this will be reflected in GDP growth.” Nitin Singhania, district magistrate Malda, said: “We are organising the initiative throughout the district in August. Every benefit will be endowed to beneficiaries.”
