Two persons have died of dengue in South Dinajpur district while 10 are hospitalised following the outbreak of the mosquito-borne disease in past one month.
District officials said on Thursday while the 35-year-old man, from Balurghat area in the district, died at SSKM Hospital, Kolkata on Thursday last week, a class five student Anjali <g data-gr-id="8">Oraon</g> perished at local hospital early this week.
Meanwhile, ten persons were afflicted with the virus in Balurghat municipal area limits and the civic authorities were monitoring the situation.
