Kathmandu: Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Friday inducted two new ministers into his Cabinet.
President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Gauri Kumari Yadav and Ramji Yadav, representing Rastraiya Swatantra Party, at a ceremony at the president’s office at Sheetalniwas.
Gauri Kumari Yadav was appointed Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, while Ramji Yadav became Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, said a notice issued by the president’s office.
With this, the number of cabinet members has increased to 16.
Balendra Shah was sworn in as Nepal’s prime minister last month, nearly six months after the dramatic collapse of the Oli government in an unprecedented youth movement.
